Tapestry Classes
These classes provide a stimulating environment in which to develop and explore the technique of tapestry weaving. New students will be taught basic tapestry weaving skills:
AUTUMN TERM 2020:
Our Thursday tapestry class is currently limited to four students and is being held between 2-4pm on Thursday afternoons at Kew Studio.

COSTS
- Thursday course: £130 for 12 evening sessions
- Saturday course: £120 for 3 daytime sessions
NB: All students participating in a Kew Studio class must become Student members at a cost of £5 per term. Student membership brings students fully into the Kew Studio community, allowing them, among other things, the opportunity to take part in management meetings and to show their work at Studio exhibitions.

About the Tutor
William Jefferies studied tapestry at Edinburgh College of Art and then worked at the Dovecot before going on to do an MA at the Royal College of Art. He weaves to commission and produces speculative tapestries for exhibition. He has work in the collections of the Victoria and Albert Museum, Crafts Council, Scottish Arts Council and the National Gallery of Victoria, Australia.
He teaches at Morley College and Huron University, London. He regularly conducts workshops across the UK.
